OCB's Mission Statement:


To lower the suicide rate by providing a therapeutic motorcycle workshop for Veterans suffering from PTSD / TBI / and/or depression. 


Challenge Mission:

OPERATION COMBAT BIKESAVER (OCB) IS CHALLENGING (ASKING) ALL RIDERS GROUPS, CAR CLUBS, MOTORCYCLE CLUBS, AMERICAN LEGIONS, VFW’S, AMVETS, OR ANY OTHER ORGANIZATION OR BUSINESS ACROSS AMERICA TO TEAM UP AND HOST A FUNDRAISER BENEFITING OPERATION COMBAT BIKESAVER, THAT WILL NOT ONLY HELP OUR VETERANS PARTICIPATING IN OUR PROGRAM, BUT WILL GIVE YOU A CHANCE TO WIN A CUSTOM-BUILT MOTORCYCLE THEMED TO YOUR ORGANIZATION OR BUSINESS.

THE ORGANIZATION OR BUSINESS WHICH RAISES THE MOST FUNDS WILL RECEIVE AN AMERICAN MADE CUSTOM-BUILT MOTORCYCLE THEMED TO THEIR ORGANIZATION OR BUSINESS. 2ND AND 3RD PLACE WILL RECEIVE A PERCENTAGE OF THEIR RAISED PROCEEDS BACK TO THEIR ORGANIZATION OR CHARITY OF THEIR CHOICE.


OPERATION COMBAT BIKESAVER, INC IS A 501 (C)(3) VETERAN NONPROFIT, WHERE VETERANS ARE HELPING VETERANS THROUGH HOT ROD THERAPY.​


PROMOTION DESCRIPTION

Operation Combat Bikesaver’s “The OCB Challenge” (the “Challenge”) begins registration on or about November 25th, 2020 at 7:00 a.m. Central Time (“CT”) and ends on November 11th, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. CT (the “Challenge Period”). Deadline for registration is September 1st, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. CT to qualify for the challenge. All funds raised must be turned in on or before October 1st, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. CT to qualify as a winner. Winners will be announced November 11th, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. on Veterans Day.

A.     Organizations and businesses are encouraged to be as creative as they want with regard to their fundraising efforts, however, a few rules apply (for clarity and fairness):


  1. The participant must hold the fundraiser/s through its organization or business and all proceeds of any such event or fundraiser must go to Operation Combat Bikesaver, Inc. at 5016 W 133rd Ave. Crown Point, IN 46307.
  2. Fundraiser does not have to be held on one specific date alone within the 2021 “Challenge Period”. The fundraising may continue throughout the duration of the challenge time frame raising funds the entirety of the challenge. Ex: round up programs, events, or raffles.
  3. Must follow local gaming laws.
  4. All funds raised must be turned in on or before October 1st, 2021 via certified, cashier’s check or a check from the organization or business which must clear by October 4th, 2021.  No cash will be accepted.
  5. Funds being turned in by October 1st, 2021 will give us enough time to finish the custom built motorcycle themed to the winner, and complete the 2nd and 3rd place prizes in time for the November 11th, 2021 announcement of the winners.


B.   The top 3 Organizations or Businesses that submit the largest donations, will be announced on November 11th, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time during Facebook Live.  Prizes will be awarded as follows:
 

  1. 1ST PLACE:   Custom built AMERICAN MADE motorcycle themed to their Organization or Business and delivered personally by our founder Jason Zaideman and his team.
  2. 2ND PLACE:  10% of the Organization’s donations will go back to their organization and a framed 18x24 award to hang on your wall. If a Business wins, then 10% will go to a charity of their choosing along with a framed 18x24 award to hang on your wall.
  3. 3RD PLACE:   5% of the Organization's donations will go back to their organization and a framed 18x24 award to hang on your wall. If a Business wins, then 5% will go to a charity of their choosing along with a framed 18x24 award to hang on your wall.
  4. All other participating organizations and businesses will receive a care package from OCB thanking you for your much-appreciated efforts in helping us with our mission.



**In the unforeseen event that total proceeds raised overall does not cover the costs of building a custom American built motorcycle (ie: lack of participation in the OCB Challenge,) Operation Combat Bikesaver will work with the winning organizations and/or businesses on an appropriate custom prizes.

 
ELIGIBILITY 

Only Organizations, Foundations, Riders Groups, Car Clubs, Motorcycle Clubs or any other group that is  determined exempt from federal income tax under the Internal Revenue Code (IRC) Section 501( c )(3), or has a federal EIN registered with the Internal Revenue Service,  or a registered business of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who have a physical address in good standing with the Internal Revenue Service at the time of entry are eligible to enter. Officers, directors and employees, including members, support members, employees of an organization or business, (all such individuals and entities referred to collectively as the “Contest Entities”), and each of their immediate family members and/or people living in the same household are NOT eligible to enter the Contest or win a prize as an individual. The prize can only be won to the organization or business itself. This Contest is void where prohibited. The group or business conducting the fundraising challenge must nominate a “Team Leader” to complete the Submission and list a contact person for verification purposes and general permissions to verify the legitimacy of the challenge entry. In the event the group's entry is selected as a winner, the Prizes will be awarded in the names of the Organization or Business designated on the entry form. Each member of the Team must meet all of the eligibility requirements set forth herein. No person is permitted to enter the Contest or win a prize without a designated organization or business. This Fundraiser Challenge is only for Organizations and Businesses collectively across the United States.

 

HOW TO ENTER 

To enter, visit the web site https://form.jotform.com/83393420631150 (or the enter button at the bottom of this page), and complete the entry form on the Website. The entry form will ask for you to enter your name, name of Organization or business, address, contact e-mail of the Team Leader entering the challenge, and several verification check boxes making sure that you and your Organization or Business are eligible for the challenge.​

In addition, the Entry must meet with technical specifications provided on the Website and comply with the following “Entry Requirements”:

  1. Team Leader entering must be a member and/or representative and/or employee and/or volunteer with permission from the Organization or Business to raise funds in their name.
  2. A representative of the Organization or Business must approve the participation in this challenge with the Organization or Business prior to submitting your entry.
  3. We will check with the organization to verify the entry and get permissions from the organization or business to use their logos in the customization of their prizes in the event they are a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place winner.
  4. All donations from the challenge must be turned in by October 3rd, 2021 in order to be eligible to win the challenge. All proceeds turned in after October 3rd, 2021 will not be eligible to be considered for the challenge.


IMPORTANT NOTE:  Any entrant may use Operation Combat Bikesaver’s logo in advertisements for the challenge such as posters, flyer, banners, and social media posts. Any entrant who incorporates Operation Combat Bikesaver’s logo into any merchandise to be sold will be disqualified. Nothing with Operation Combat Bikesaver’s logo may be sold unless permission has been granted by Operation Combat Bikesaver. To keep the challenge fair, and to insure quality control, we are removing the usage of making products using our logo. If any Organization or Business is duly notified that any element of an entrant’s use of the Operation Combat Bikesaver logo infringes upon the rights of another person and/or receives a legally valid request to remove the affected use of the Operation Combat Bikesaver logo infringing on Operation Combat Bikesaver’s logo usage, such Organization or Business may be removed from the Challenge and/or disqualified from the Contest, as Operation Combat Bikesaver may determine in its sole discretion. Further, no entrant will be eligible to receive a prize unless Operation Combat Bikesaver determines, in its sole and absolute discretion that such entrant’s entry has been or can be sufficiently cleared for legal purposes.​


GOVERNING LAW/JURISDICTION

All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these official rules or the rights and obligations of entrants or OCB in connection with "The Challenge", shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the internal laws of the state of Indiana without giving effect to any choice of  law of conflict or law rules or provisions that would cause the application of any other state's laws.

 
ARBITRATION PROVISION

By participating in this Challenge, each entrant agrees: (i) that any and all disputes the entrant may have with, or claims entrant may have against, the Challenge Entities relating to, arising out of or connected in any way with (a) the Challenge, (b) the awarding or redemption of any prize, and/or (c) the determination of the scope or applicability of this agreement to arbitrate, will be resolved exclusively by final and binding arbitration as provided by the ADR Rules of Lake County, Indiana. ​



REPRESENTATIONS AND WARRANTIES / INDEMNIFICATION

Each entrant hereby agrees to indemnify and hold the Operation Combat Bikesaver harmless form and against any and all third-party claims, actions or proceedings of any kind from any and all damages, liabilities, costs and expenses relating to or arising out of the breach or alleged breach of any of the warranties, representations or agreements of entrant hereunder.​


WINNER’S LIST/ OFFICIAL RULES

To obtain a copy of any legally-required winners list or a copy of these Official Rules, send a self-addressed stamped envelope to: Operation Combat Bikesaver’s “The OCB Challenge” 5016 W 133rd Ave., Crown Point, IN 46307 or an email to challenge@combatbikesaver.org  All such requests must be received within six (6) weeks after the end of the Challenge Period. These Official Rules will be posted on the Website during the Contest Period.
